In regards to the office there are 3 things I would like to share:
- I have too much redundancy in my office. I am sure you do as well. Taking the time to identify the redundancy and eliminating it has saved me tons of man hours. It also has allowed me to see more patients. Find out what is being done by multiple people and streamline it!
- Having the ability for your patients to order contacts online is amazing. Make sure you are sending them reminders when they are getting near the end of the supply they purchased and see your revenue increase.
- Online scheduling is the future. I have been very resistant to this as it is a loss of control in a sense. Well, get busy living or get busy dying. Patients can order almost anything by the touch of a button on their phones and if you do not limit barriers to them coming into your office, someone else will and you will be left behind. Embrace the change my friends!
