Closing Thought of the Week: You Are Doing Something Wrong - E15

If I asked you what you knew to be true 10 years ago that you had totally changed your mindset and beliefs on, how long would your list be? Do you think 10 years from now it will be the same way? If you said yes, you need to accept the fact that things you know to be true today, some of the things you base your business decisions on, you life and relationship decisions, or your health decisions on are flat out wrong. Think about that, you are currently operating on false, incorrect information.

I bring this up because in order to grow and develop, we have to acknowledge we are wrong. You have to seek diversity of thought in order to get better, correct false beliefs, and grow to be better in all we do. When you hear something that goes against your current beliefs (ways to run your office, nutrition or exercise beliefs, etc) assume it is correct initially, and then strategically try to poke holes in the concept. By at least starting at the premise of the information being right and you being wrong, you give yourself the opportunity to make a change. If your default is they are wrong and you are right, you are never going to grow or change.

You can have 15 years of life experience or 1 year of life experience 15 times. The choice is yours!
