Closing Thought of the Week: A Child's Motivation - E11
So I have 3 children, ages 4,3, and 1. I have experienced this twice before, but I am still amazed every time They begin to stand and eventually walk. My 1 year old just started standing and balancing on her own. She falls, bumps her head, face plants, but she continues to get back up and push the limits.
You know this is inherent and ingrained in all of us, right? We all were those little kids driven to stand and walk. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, we lose it. We learn that we can quit, take the easy way out, not show up anymore...stop the pain of growth. Do not accept this, know that the inherent drive and motivation to succeed is there and will carry us through any adversity we face if we keep going, do not quit, get back up when life knocks us down. Half the battle is showing up each day and the other half is persisting until we succeed.
I see you my friends, and I am here with you on this journey. It is time to walk.
