I’ve sat in rooms with incredibly successful practice owners, listened to their frustrations, and wondered how in the world they could could say they're struggling when their businesses were doing so well. Coming full circle on what I learned at Eyecare B.O.S.S. Live, I’m realizing that success gives us different problems to work on, but we need to distinguish those new challenges from the same issues we keep failing to fix. This perspective is changing the way I coach my manager, leads, and associates, along with giving me four questions I’m using to decide what a problem needs from me. Take a look at what’s landing on your desk and ask whether it needs a better system, a chance for someone else to develop, or a new skill from you.
