Planning for the future is always a good idea, however for some reason we can forget that when it comes to our patients. Something I've done for years and just recently pinpointed is that I am all about playing the long game with my patients. In my mind, this is not a one and done event - I am planting seeds for years down the road! That kind of approach seems to take the pressure off the patient and helps build trust which I'm now seeing the fruit of!
